2.1 Review of Concept
The concepts of product advertise and brand performance is a familiar thing among organizational managers. Advertising in its broad sense is stimulus whereby it attracts consumers or audience members to a particular firm or company. (Okunna 2000:31) when management prepares its advertising policies, it must keep in win the audience. Although a number of people chose a particular product based on the level of advert and the popularity of the brand of that particular product. But this alone is not the variable that attracts income to a company or industry product advertising according to John (2004:61) is bringing a product or service to the attention of potential and current customers. Advertising is focused on one particular product or service. Thus, an advertising plan for one product might be very different to that for another, product commercials, direct mailings or e-mail messages, personal contact etc. no company can hope to progress without the effective effects of the customers and goods advertising and quality brand contribute factors cannot obtain financial reward unless the company achieves its objectives (Okeke, 2000).
2.2 The Advertising Concept
Good advertising can result in improved company’s product (Galhup 2009). Adverting in broad terms refers to or includes all the processes involved in bringing a product of a company to potential, current and targeted customers. (Frank 2000). Advertising embraces other terms like marketing, promotion, public, relations, publicity and sales. It’s easy to become confuse about these terms because they are used interchangeably. However, they refers to difference but similar activities, here a short example is also provided financially to help make the terms more clearly to the reader. If the circus coming to town and you paint a sign saying “circus coming to the fairground Saturday” that is advertising. If you put the sign on the back of an elephant and walk it into town, that’s promotion. If the elephant walks through the margins flower bed, that’s public relations if the towns citizen go the circus, you show them the many entertainment booths, explain how much fun they will have spend. Money at the booths, answer their questions and ultimately. They spend a lot at the circus that sale.
In the other hand, the consumers demonstrate some elements of knowledge. It is they who diagnose the adverts for goods and services and take corrective action. Because of their high demand they can easily migrate to another brand of product for more and better benefits just as stated by James (2000). Concerning the management top adverts are given services thought. This is why advertising and branding policy must be carefully stated and should be flexible to the audience members of customers.
